When you submit a company using email verification, we collect your email address solely for the purpose of verifying your company's tech stack submission.

Your email is used to send a one-time verification link. Once you click this link and complete the verification process, your email serves as proof that the submission was made by someone with access to a company email address.

After verification is complete and your company is added to our directory, your email address is permanently deleted from our database. We do not store, share, or use your email for any other purposes.

We collect the following types of data:

• Company information from official Belgian registries (CBE database)
• Technology stack information you provide
• Company location data
• Proof URLs (when using URL verification method)
• Email addresses temporarily for verification (deleted after verification)

Company information, tech stacks, and locations are retained permanently as part of our public directory to serve the Belgian tech community.

Email addresses used for verification are deleted immediately after successful verification completion.

Our company data comes from:

• Belgian Central Bank of Enterprises (CBE) for official company information
• National Bank of Belgium for employee count data
• Community submissions and updates for tech stack information
